Join Now as an Associate

To become an associate, you must

  • hold a degree or equivalent professional qualification (other than in exceptional cases),and,
  • be engaged full-time in management consultancy or business advisory services, for example:

  1. Self-employed as a management consultant or business adviser
  2. Working in a management consulting or business advisory firm
  3. Working as a management consultant or business adviser in a business organisation 
  4. Working as a management consultant or business adviser in a State organisation

To Join:

  1. Complete the online application, or
  2. Complete the Associate application form IM- F06 and send in the form - preferably by fax or email, or by post.

Note: All applicants must study the Code of Professional Conduct IM-F01.

You will receive an immediate acknowledgement of your application. We will confirm that your application has been accepted or discuss the position with you within two weeks.

Notes:
1. Students of management consulting or business advice should complete the Student Application Form IM-F07
2. Firms of five or more consultants or advisers may apply to become Accredited Practices
3. In exceptional circumstances, an applicant can become a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) without first becoming an associate.
